The UAH Research Management Service it has been recognized with a quality seal for its services

It´s the first administrative service of the University of Alcalá to obtain the quality certificate in the International Standard ISO 9001:2015 that regulates Quality Management Services.

Thanks to the work of the UAH to introduce quality policies into its procedures, the Research Management Service has been recognized with this quality seal. Specifically, this service is dedicated to increasing research potential and meeting the needs for the support and promotion of research at the University.

Furthermore, its achievement has even more merit, since this certification is fundamentally aimed at evaluating the private sector, so this process has required a great effort of adaptation by the UAH in the accreditation and documentation of the organization of the service, its operating protocols, the training of its staff or the development of its usual procedures. Development that has been affected by the pandemic, which delayed the originally planned deadlines.

This certification proves that the UAH applies the best procedures to provide the best service to researchers in what they need, such as the dissemination of funding opportunities, processing proposals and granting research projects, administrative and economic management of research contracts, the processes of scholarship calls, calls for aid for scientific equipment, the management of the Research Support Centres or the execution of the Vice-Chancellor's Own Research and Transfer Programme, among others. All this is managed within the four sections that make up the Service: Scholarship Section and other Grants; Economic Section; Projects and Contracts Section and European Projects Section, IT Coordination and Service Headquarters.
