UAH is among the universities most committed to the Sustainable Development Goals

The second edition of Times Higher Education Impact Rankings places UAH as one of the world's universities most committed to the growth of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In particular, Universidad de Alcalá stands out in the targets of Educational quality, Gender Equality, Partnerships for Sustainable Development, and Sustainable Cities and Communities.

The Times Higher Education educational consultant, which produces one of the world's leading universities rankings, has made public its rank of universities that contribute most to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), based on several indicators related to education, research, university extension and management. In this edition, 766 universities from 85 countries have been able to enter the ranking.

The UAH ranks among the top 50 universities in the world in Educational quality, and between the 100 first ones in Gender Equality (87th position). It also holds the 101-200 position in Partnerships for Sustainable Development and the 201-300 position in Sustainable Cities and Communities. In the general classification, Universidad de Alcalá is between the top 300 universities in the world (position 201-300).

This classification confirms the results obtained in other specialized rankings, such as the UI GreenMetric, developed by the University of Indonesia, which considers the UAH the second Spanish university and the 19th in the world in environmental sustainability.
