Aula Abierta programme is active next Thursday, November 26, at 18:00., with the debate 'cyberfeminism against sexist violence' on the occasion of the celebration of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on 25 November.

On Thursday will take place the colloquium debate 'Cyberfeminism against sexist violence' within the framework of Open Classroom. The event is broadcast live through Universidad de Alcalá YouTube channel.

The event will be attended by Towanda Rebels, a feminist communication channel composed of Zua Méndez and Teresa Lozano. This media, which began its career on the YouTube social network in 2017, has been growing into a project that combines feminist outreach and training, media collaborations, as well as the creation of fictional content with a gender perspective. With this event, Aula Abierta commemorates the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, which is celebrated every year on 25 November.

The Open Classroom program is a project open to society and is organized by the Council for Equality of the City council of Alcalá de Henares and the UAH´s Equality Unit.
